Welcome to our sixth year of live programming on CAN-TV. The Issues & Artists show continues to bring forth exciting and rewarding programs of our time.

On Wednesday, February 13, 2013, Joyce Walker will interview Mr. James T. Edwards, Regional Director of the Cook County GED program to discuss the multiple changes coming soon the statewide program. These changes will effect everyone, so if you or someone you know in the Chicago area does not have a GED or has started the process (and has not completed it), this show will be the show to watch. Issues & Artists host Joyce Renee Walker continues to bring you the best in Arts & Entertainment as she once again graces the Red Carpet at the 32nd, 2013 Annual Chicago Music Awards with sensational interviews. This years’ Chicago Music Awards started with a band as Joyce interviews lifetime Achievement Award Winner, Tony Smith and Eddie Korosa, Jr.

Spotlighting the best musicians in Chicago, Joyce spoke with Reggaeton winner Guero Loco, R&B King John Blu, and of course a special moment of laughter and historical incite with the legendary George Daniels. In addition, this CMA show is particular special because Joyce’s band, the JK Connection, was a nominate in the Outstanding Band, Group or Duo category. Watch clips from this interview in early March, 2013 on CAN-TV on the Issues and Artists program.
